New Subaru XV GT Edition Launched in Singapore

The seriously exciting XV is now sportier, designed exclusively for Asia

Singapore, 29 July 2021 – Motor Image, the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Singapore, is pleased to introduce the new 2021 Subaru XV GT Edition. The latest XV GT offers added sportiness for a more aggressive look.

This second XV GT model is created in close collaboration with renowned engineering company Giken Co. Ltd and Mr Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi. The 2021 XV GT’s bodykit is more aggressive, yet perfectly integrated with the newly facelifted XV. The front under spoiler has been redesigned and front bumper garnishes have been added.

The new XV GT is underpinned by the four hallmark Subaru Core Technologies, which contribute towards optimised handling, maximum comfort and enhanced safety for all on board. The four Subaru Core Technologies are: Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Boxer Engine, Subaru Global Platform and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.

The new XV GT also sports Subaru’s SI-DRIVE and dual-function X-MODE.

SI-DRIVE is Subaru’s powertrain performance management system that allows the driver to choose between the vehicle’s “Sport” and “Intelligent” modes.

Selecting “Intelligent” mode helps smooth out accelerator inputs for fuel saving. “Sport” mode tunes the throttle to emphasise performance – which means the car responds immediately and powerfully in a refined manner – allowing for speedy acceleration.

X-MODE allows the driver to select between two different settings tailored to specific driving conditions. It complements Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to allow drivers to take the road less travelled more confidently, especially on uneven surfaces or challenging inclines.
