Special Subaru Forester GT Edition Package Goes on Sale in Vietnam

The extraordinary SUV is now much sportier and is available with a limited-time promotion until the end of May

Ho Chi Minh City, 15 May 2020 – Motor Image Vietnam Co. Ltd. (MIV), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Vietnam, has begun sales of the special GT Edition Package for the Subaru Forester. This is the first Subaru GT Edition Package sold in Vietnam and is available for viewing at Motor Image branches and authorised Subaru dealerships nationwide.

Introductory promotion

From 15 to 31 May, customers who purchase a Forester with the new GT Edition Package stand to receive a special gift – a four-person Subaru picnic tent, which is perfect for outdoor adventures with the Forester. Do note that quantity for this is, however, limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The GT Edition Package is available for purchase with every new Forester 2.0i-S and 2.0i-S EyeSight, for just 78,000,000 VNĐ (including VAT) on top of the standard vehicle prices.

Alternatively, the GT Edition Package is also available for purchase at 109,000,000 VND for existing fifth-generation Forester owners who want to stand out from the crowd and defy convention.

Sportier from every angle

Tailored specifically with Motor Image’s in-depth understanding of the Asian market, Mr Masahiko “Jack” Kobayashi’s expertise, as well as Giken Co. Ltd.’s experience, the GT Edition Package is expected to be a game-changer for Subaru in Vietnam.

The special GT Edition aero kit has five well-made and integrated elements, which give the rugged yet refined Forester a sleeker and even sportier look:

2. Side skirts
3. Roof spoiler
4. Rear bumper lip extension
5. Exhaust tip
   

These are complemented by a set of 18-inch bespoke alloy wheels. The GT Edition Package also boasts its own dual-color seat-leather design. Completing the equipment package is a new 8-inch Display Audio System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a Superview Around Recognition 360 System (360° around-view monitor system), which enables drivers to park and maneuver with ease.
